Lip seals may be considered as a special type of precision gasket. They are available in different shape of the cross section, as for instance with single lip, with double lips, with symmetric or asymmetric shape, rod seals, piston seals, scrape seals and reach their sealing function by rotation or by an axial movement. Thanks to a high-performance capability in dynamic working conditions under high and also low-pressure power, Lip seals are often installed on hydraulic cylinders and in this application the lip seals have been called rod seals or piston seals. 

Tank special shape of his cross section, the lip seals guarantee good sealing function and resistance to friction, even by particular difficult working condition, as small dealignment, or radial forces.

For our customer Rezingom produce fine rod and piston seals, as lip seals, in special materials (normally HNBR, AEM and NBR rubber materials have been used) with different shape of cross section and in high precision tolerances.

For the production of lip seals and up to the application Rezingom use special materials with a high technological content, developed to meet the specification’s request of OEM automotive industry and their supplier, or customer’s request.
